He completed his Diploma in Financial Planning in 1992 and became a Certified Financial Planner in 1993. On 5 occasions Alan received the award of St George Financial Planner of the year and was twice a finalist in the George employee of the year award.In 2008, Alan accepted St George’s offer to transfer from the St George financial planning dealership to the Securitor Group and become self employed. On a personal note, Alan has served in local government for three terms in the former Greater Taree City Council first becoming elected in 2004 and re-elected 2008 and 2012 serving as Deputy Mayor.
His other interests include, sport ( particularly cricket.. where he could be described as a tragic!!) Music, Arts, and he is also a member of both Rotary and Lions. Alan is a life member of Manning Junior Cricket and a Rotary Paul Harris Fellow. Alan is committed to remaining focused on service and being available to assist clients when they are most in need of assistance.
Jonathon commenced working for Your Heritage Financial Planning in 2009. He has completed his Diploma in Financial Planning and is registered under the RG 146 requirements to be a Financial Planner. To gain experience Jonathon moved to Sydney in 2013 and worked for 2 years in a city firm, before returning back to Your Heritage Financial Planning as a Director.
Jonathon’s expertise is in the area of insurance and feels strongly about the need for young families to be fully covered in the unfortunate event that may prevent one or both parents unable to provide for their family.
Jonathon has completed his Advanced Diploma in Financial Planning, is undergoing further study and is looking to the future with his career in Financial Planning.

Narelle has been working in the Taree Financial Planning practice with Alan for over 20 years and is viewed by clients as the “first port of call.”
Her system knowledge and attention to detail allows Narelle to handle most of the routine service enquiries that clients have but with the understanding that requests for actual advice gets referred to Alan.
Narelle is also very adept in assisting clients complete Centrelink reviews and her thorough and systematic approach to administration ensures that client files are maintained to an excellent standard.
Narelle has also worked with Alan either in her capacity as a St George Customer Service officer where she excelled to the point of being named Employee of the Year by the then St George Building Society in 1990 or as a Financial Planning assistant since 1995.
Narelle’s principal role is to help Alan with progress work on new and existing clients as well as advice documentation and preparation.
Narelle has completed her Diploma in Financial Services (Financial Planning).
